"Carl John and Karin Hardt play the parts in this film based on a true story. By sheer carelessness, a workman hangs an 18 ton load on hooks designed to carry two and a halt tons. One of the hooks
gave way when a crane lifted this heavy block. It fell in the middle of the shop on a truck which was hurled through a wall. Luckily, it was Sunday... The film gives three versions of the accident: the genuine story - damages to material only; a version imagined afterwards by the workman - follow workers killed; and the version of the workers' wife - death of her husband, her grief and misery."
