|Biografie||German filmmaker Thomas Hausner specializes in short and compilation films such as the entertaining look at post-war Germany, Made in Germany (1998). Before launching his professional career, Hausner studied at Munich's Academy for Television and Film. Graduating in 1984, Hausner went on to work at several television stations and as a lecturer at his alma mater. In 1993, he became a war correspondent for the ARD and covered the conflict in Bosnia-Herzegovina. As a newsman, Hausner covered nearly 12,000 TV news and magazine articles.
